A 44-year-old man charged with three counts of rape and one count of pornographic activity appeared in the Lautoka High Court today.

Filipe Tuisawau Kepa, is alleged to have raped a child on different occasions between 2013 and 2015.

Kepa also allegedly participated in the recording of pornographic activity directly and indirectly involving a juvenile.

The State sought time from the Court to file Information and Disclosures.

The accused also sought time from the Court to engage Legal Aid.

An interim Domestic Violence Restraining Order has been issued against Kepa who remains in custody as he has failed to produce a surety as per his bail condition.

The Matter has been adjourned until November 23rd for mention.
