Ministers to attend the Belt and Road Forum in China

Three Fijian Ministers will attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in China at the end of this month.

Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo says the Forum will produce a range of outcomes, including both governmental cooperation agreements and initiatives, as well as concrete cooperation projects involving the business sector.

Bo says the Ministries of Fisheries, Trade and Infrastructure will be able to have fruitful discussions with forty leaders from various countries.

He adds that these ministries are mostly linked with the Belt and Road forum as it is about policy coordination, infrastructure and trade.
