Political parties look at the next step following ball draw

Candidates from six political parties standing in the 2018 general election are now focusing on the next step of their campaign following the National Candidates List ball draw in Suva this morning.

Unity Fiji Candidate Ligavatu Gukisuva says the processes of the ball draw was transparent and it’s time to go big on campaigning.

”Now we can go out and finalize our marketing materials. Posters and banners and social media campaign and all those things. We have twenty-seven days to go now before black out and we have limited time to go do this and we going up against two hundred and thirty five candidates.”

Fiji Labour Party Candidate Lavinia Padarath says they have to go all out on campaigning with the numbers.

”We are happy with what has transpired today. All the processes here but we wish it would have been sooner

All the two hundred and thirty-five candidates now have a three digit number which will appear in the ballot papers come November 14th.
