Political campaigns to increase

Now that all the two hundred and thirty-five candidates know their numbers as they will appear on the ballot papers – they’re expected to ramp up their campaign.

HOPE Leader Tupou Draunidalo says they welcomed the transparent process of the National Candidate List ball draw today.

”What has happened today is what the candidates really need and we’re in the final lap and we’re ready for 14th November.”

SODELPA Candidate Niko Nawaikula revealed that they’re now anticipating November 14th.

”I can’t wait for this to happen – i have been around Vanua Levu. The villagers there they want change. They can’t wait for change.”

NFP Vice President Seini Nabou says they’ve already planned their campaign and will now act on it.

”It was a good process. We were there members of the party and we liked the transparency of it.”

The names, numbers and photos of all candidates which you can refer to while casting your vote during a pre-poll or on Election Day will be available in the voter instruction booklet.
