Police are yet to question the mother who allegedly abandoned her baby in a dumpster in Savusavu last Thursday.

Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the post mortem of the new born found by council workers was conducted today.

However, police will not divulge the result as the investigation continues.

Naisoro says mother remains admitted in hospital.
