Police are yet to ascertain whether a seven-year-old girl in Toorak was kidnapped or not.

Chief of Investigation and Intelligence ACP Henry Brown told FBC news they have received a report and they are trying to find out what actually transpired.

He says the hunt continues for the alleged suspect.

ACP Brown has appealed to public, especially parents to keep an eye out for their children and reinforce supervision.
