Police are awaiting a post-mortem of the death of an 87-year-old man of Sakoca, in Tacirua, Suva.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri could not confirm whether the post mortem would be conducted today.

The victim’s daughter found his body inside their home on the weekend.

Sokomuri says the back-door of the house was open and some items were allegedly stolen.
