Police urge Fijians to be mindful

April 18, 2019 9:35 am

With several reported cases of missing persons reported and later found safe and well, police are pleading with the public to be mindful.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they are requesting members of the public to understand the stress and worry one can cause when they don’t communicate their whereabouts or plans to their loved ones.

Police resources she says are also being directed towards the investigation towards missing person’s reports and majority of these cases, the victim is found staying with relatives or a friend, having failed to inform their families of their whereabouts.
