Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho is expected to speak to neighboring countries for assistance in gadgets that can assist the Police force capture hardened criminals who are on the run from the law.

Qiliho says this has come about following his visit to Nadi yesterday where he was briefed by his team of officers on the outcome of Deshwar Dutt’s arrest.

He says they have learnt great lessons from his arrest and also raised a few issues especially relating to gadgets that can be used to assist the force in this situations.

He says gadgets like night vision devices and movement censors will be able to better assist the force in capturing and tracking criminals especially at night.
