The Fiji Police Force is now working at reducing the number of vehicles stolen in the Southern division.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they will be releasing the registration plates of the stolen vehicles soon.
Naisoro adds measures are now in place to catch the culprits.
We have a standard in place where once a report is recieved, a road block is erected in the area where the report was recieved from. But what we are asking is for vehicle owners is to be more vigilant of where they park their vehicles.
Naisoro says people should take responsibility of their vehicles.
We are just asking people to inform their nearest Police station or community posts and let them know if their vehicles are parked in isolated areas because that way we can keep an eye on it.
A total of 33 vehicles were stolen in the southern division while all other divisions recorded only two reports.
