The Fiji Police Force will be monitoring the sale of alcohol after trading hours over the coming months.

Director Police Operations Rusiate Tudravu says, they have forewarned traders on the issue and those found to be breaching their licenses will be penalized.

As the country gears up towards the festive season, Tudravu says they will be out to stop traders who continue to sell alcohol after the licensed hours.
