Police step up operations for Super Rugby match

The Fiji Police Force is working towards ensuring the Super Rugby match this evening is incident free.

Police Chief of Operations ACP RusiateTudravusays other than their surveillance and police officers on the ground, members of the public are been asked to do their part and ensure the games are safe and Fijian hospitality is accorded to the many visitors.

“This is one of the event that we will portray, try to market that we will be are capable of organising this .The Fiji Police is part of the organising committee and am urging members of the public to look at it at a big picture rather than looking at personal interest into this .Once we conduct ourselves well here we are expecting other international game hosted here"

Meanwhile, there will be road closures from 4pm to 10 pm tonight at Laucala Bay road, Grantham iunction and Fletcher road junction.

Only those holding vehicle passes to the ANZ Stadium will be allowed to drive through during the road closures.
