The Fiji Police Force has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesia to strengthen ties for the protection of our borders.
Police Commissioner Ben Groenewald says the MOU will also help the police to work with Indonesia to track down people who are involved in drugs and human trafficking.
Groenewald says it is vital to work with overseas countries as this will further develop how they deliver the best protection for all Fijians.
The Fiji Police Force is adamant that it will do all it can to bring those involved in drug and human trafficking to face the full brunt of the law.
