Police are seeking information on the woman who left her new born baby and at the Suva Point Foreshore early on Saturday morning.

The body was found by a thirty-two-year-old woman of Wailea Street, in Vatuwaqa.

The woman was looking for herbs for medicine when she noticed a bag with cloth on the beach.

She picked up the bag and found a newly formed baby boy.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, is again appealing to members of the public, to report to police if they have any information about the mother of the baby.

Investigations are continuing.
