Police salary increment in its second phase

The Fiji Police Force is currently in its second phase with the implementation of its salary increment announced in the 2017/2018 national budget.

While making submissions on the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Police Chief Admin Officer, ACP Itendra Nair says the first phase is completed.

”We are doing this in phases and phase one has been successfully implemented where the officers of the regular force have been tagged on the base salary on the new FPF salary table as per NX2 and approved government gazette LN 49.”

ACP Nair says police officers receive a base salary increment from 11.5 to 25.5 percent.

He adds the Force has also developed and implemented a salary progression as part of phase two.

Meanwhile, regular offices received their pay-out on September 6th while the pay-out of Special Constables were made on October 27th.
