Police request public to respect PSV drivers

The public has been reminded and requested to respect public service vehicle drivers especially taxi drivers.

The Fiji Police Force has made the appeal following analysis into past years statistics which showed that during this period there were usually an increase in the numbers of reported cases of assaults against taxi drivers

Taxi drivers have been urged to drive report to any police station or posts if they feel threatened by their passengers.

The public are also reminded to respect taxi drivers because they are providing a service to the community.
