Police officers have been out in the capital for two weeks now clearing the streets of drunkards, after reports of disorderly behaviour and harassment.

Chief of operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says four people were also arrested for drunk and disorderly behavior yesterday (Saturday) morning.

ACP Tudravu has reminded the public that such acts will not be tolerated.

“We have noted the changes from last week as we beef up on the areas of concern, drinking spots and nightclubs. We will again be on the full force this weekend.”

Police are working with nightclub owners, bouncers and security officers to ensure the streets are safe for everyone.
