The Police Force will not be content with what they have achieved last year and Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho is demanding all police officers to lift their performance of serving the public.
Qiliho says there are a lot of improvements that need to be done in terms of serving the public and officers have been briefed to deliver.
Despite an expected decrease in crime rate compared to 2016, Qiliho says they will ensure a safer Fiji is maintained for everyone.
“We are serious of maintaining that and sustaining our battle rhythm against Crime throughout this year and that will involve a serious of covert operations so that we can make our place safer for all Fijians and all visitors to Fiji.”
The Police Force is expected to carry out major operations this year especially with elections coming up.
