June 21, 2012 5:05 am

Two police officers allegedly involved in a theft at the CID Headquarters in Toorak have been further remanded in custody.

Christopher Gustaf and Anthony Teraki appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili this afternoon.

Defence lawyer representing the two asked the court if the duo could be remanded at the Naboro or Korovou prison instead of being kept in police custody at Totogo.

The defence counsel says in that way they will be safe.

Prosecution maintains they should be remanded at the Totogo Police Station.

The matter has been adjourned until the 5th of July when full disclosures will be served.
