Police will not hesitate to arrest those who are splashing water on moving vehicles and putting the lives of others at risk.

This is after they received many reports of youth or young children splashing water on passing vehicles despite numerous reminders.

Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu says officers also chased a group of people in Nasinu last night and similar incidents were also reported from other divisions.

”As I’ve stated we would like people to enjoy themselves but within the ambit of the law and throwing water in bags on passing vehicles might cause serious accidents to those that are traveling in the buses or in other vehicles.

ACP Tudravu is urging people to call command centres if they come across similar incidents or raise their concerns to the nearest station where they will investigate and arrest those responsible.
