The Fiji Police Force is once again reminding parents and guardians to spend quality time with their children to go over issues regarding the outcomes of external examinations.

This is following an alleged suicide involving a Form 7 student in Labasa yesterday.

The victim was reported missing on Wednesday and despite a search conducted late into the night results were negative. Yesterday the deceased was found by relatives.

Police says it is alleged the victim was unhappy about his exam results prior to the incident; however this is all subject to investigations.

A team of officers were dispatched to the scene and investigations are continuing.
