Police investigation continues into the case of a 35-year-old Sigatoka man allegedly fatally stabbed by a relative this morning. Apparently there were eyewitnesses to the incident.

The man was rushed to hospital by his neighbour and was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the suspect fled the scene but is now in police custody being questioned by police.

The incident occurred at Bilalevu settlement in Valley Road.
