An investigation is underway after a man in his late 40s was found dead outside his home last night.

Police Spokesperson – Ana Naisoro reports the victim’s neighbours made the discovery after 8pm when they saw him lying motionless just meters away from his home in Olosara, Sigatoka.

He had visible injuries and was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Naisoro says the cause of death will be determined after the post mortem examination.

The case is yet to be classified and will only be done after investigators receive the results of the post mortem examination which is expected to be conducted soon.
