The Police Force says their operations at the STAR Printery has ended and they will now shift their focus back to the Fijian Elections Office Headquarters.

The Force will also look at security duties during the Election period.

Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu says officers from the Police Special Response Unit who were deployed to the Printery will now be redeployed to beef up security at the FEO headquarters.

Since October 1st, PSRU officers have been deployed to the FEO Headquarters.

ACP Qiolevu says over 2000 officers will be deployed specifically for the Election operations while the remaining officers will focus on routine operations.
