Police officers in Taveuni discovered a farm believed to be of marijuana when they were searching for a missing person at Lamini village.

The police team was searching for a 98 year old man who was reported missing during Cyclone Winston and discovered 5 plants, ranging from 1.5 to 3 meters in height.

The plants have been uprooted and expected to be sent for analysis. The owner of the farm is yet to be established as investigations continue.
