Police has confirmed that a search team has been activated to attend to reports that an aircraft belonging to the Pacific Flying School was last seen over Korotari in Labasa around 12:30pm.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, has confirmed they received a report around 2pm about the missing plane.
Naisoro has confirmed the flight has two passengers on board and left Nadi Airport around 7.30am today.
While details remain sketchy, FBC News has managed to gather that the plane lost communication between Labasa and Savusavu.
FBC News has contacted the Pacific Flying School in Nadi however, they say they will not release any details as yet.
Meanwhile, the Airports Fiji Limited says they’re working on a release and will comment thereafter.
