Police concern on rape cases

December 5, 2015 4:01 am

The Fiji Police Force has raised concern in relation to the recent rape and sexual related cases involving children who are raped by a close relative whether it is a grandfather or an uncle.

Police chief of operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu says these sexual offences must be stopped and parents and guardians are advised to know where their children are at all times.

Police are also appealing to community leaders, chiefs and those holding high positions in societies to be more responsible.
