Totogo Traffic Police is calling on the public for assistance in identifying the victim of a motor vehicle accident.

The victim is now admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

The accident occurred along Stinson Parade after 5 this morning.

It is alleged the victim was crossing the road when he was hit by the suspect’s vehicle who rushed him to the hospital after the accident.

The suspect is being questioned at the Totogo Police Station.

The victim is an i-Taukei male believed to be 30-40 years old, slim built and fair.

He was wearing a pair of lee shorts and a black t-shirt.
