Police are calling on all road users to take precautions after reports of accidents in the last 48 hours.

Police will continue to be present on the road to remind all road users about maintaining law and safety.

Random road blocks will be set up at odd times to keep motorists on their toes and create awareness.

Any driver found breaching the law will be dealt with seriously.

Other stakeholders such as municipal councils and the Land Transport Authority will also be present assisting the police.

The Road Death Toll now stands at 35 compared to 30 in the same period last year.
