PM's flood visits cut short

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama’s visit to the west was cut short as he could not get past Nadi.

Apisalome Coka accompanied the entourage and filed this report.

“Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is now making his way back to the capital after inspecting flood damages to areas in the western division."

“Bainimara could not make it through the Navou Bridge here in Nadi as it is in a very bad state.”

FBC News has also confirmed that the Prime Minister will make his way back through the Kings Road on Sunday in the hope of making it through the western division.

Bainimarama was also accompanied by the Attorney General Aiyaz Saiyad Kaiyum, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga, Commander Frances Caiman and other senior government officials”.
