More than three hundred delegates from the African, Caribbean, Pacific countries and European member states were welcomed to Fiji this evening.

Hosting the welcome reception, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says it is a proud occasion for the Fijian government to host the delegates.

Bainimarama says the EU-ACP Joint Parliamentary Assembly itself shows the vibrancy and diversity of the great partnership between the ACP and EU member countries.

The Prime Minister added the assembly hopes to bring a mutually beneficial partnership between the ACP-EU member states now and in the years to come.

The meeting ends on Wednesday.
