Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will today officially open the Waivaka Bridge in the Namosi highlands.

The previous bridge was damage by flooding and also the weather conditions, so villagers and students had to cross the river daily.

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) constructed the bridge in about three months.

It cost government over $250,000.
