February 20, 2018 10:15 pm

In the lead up to the Heads of Government meeting in London in April, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has revealed his key commitment for that meeting.

Bainimarama says he will specifically urged the 53 commonwealth countries who will be present at the meeting to reduce heat trapping carbon emissions.

Demanding maximum action with maximum urgency, Bainimarama wants Zero net carbon emissions as soon as possible to limit average global warming to no more than 1.5 degree Celsius over that of the pre-industrial age.
