October 21, 2015 5:20 am

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told the people of Ra and Nadroga to avoid those spreading division and encouraging so called breakaway Christian states.

Speaking at the disbursement of micro and small business grants in Rakiraki today, Bainimarama says some that have instigated these activities are sitting comfortably overseas.

However, those that have been manipulated into forming a different Christian state are now facing the full brunt of the law.

“Anyone who engages in seditious activity and tries to thwart the democratic will of the people will have to face the full brunt of the law. All I can do is plead with everyone not to follow any such people. Everyone must respect the laws of our country and the choice our people made at the election year ago. Everyone must turn their backs on division because that is what has held Fiji back.”

Bainimarama has encouraged Fijians to place their trust in him as he continues to stand up for the interest of every Fijian.

Meanwhile, 531 Fijian entrepreneurs in Rakiraki received $1000 grant from government today to expand their business.
