Prime Minister and Minister for Sugar Industry Voreqe Bainimarama is leading Fiji’s delegation to the 24th International Sugar Organisation (ISO) Seminar in London.

The ISO is an intergovernmental body devoted to improving conditions on the world’s sugar market.

A government statement says Fiji’s participation in the ISO Seminar will enable the Government to work closely with sugar experts from across the globe.

It says, this will enable Government to replicate in Fiji some of the best practices carried out in other sugar-producing nations.

This year’s Seminar will culminate with the 48th Session of the International Sugar Council on Friday this week where the Prime Minister will deliver Fiji’s national statement.
