PM inspects Jetset Town

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is continuing his visit to the western division.

FBC i-Taukei desk editor Apisalome Coka says Bainimarama is now in Nadi Town and walking through the Jetset Town talking to shop owners who are cleaning up their damaged properties.

Coka says Nadi’s Main Street has been badly damaged and shops have lost almost everything.

He is now making his way towards Namotomoto and Narewa.

Meanwhile, Bainimarama has today eliminated VAT on any relief supplies sent from abroad.

To qualify, donors will need to channel the relief supplies through the PM’s office.
