Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama today honoured a commitment he made to students of Naqelekula Methodist Circuit School in Savusavu.

In June last year, Bainimarama committed to assist the school with kitchen utensils.

The utensils, worth $3,235 was provided by the PM’s Office.

Bainimarama says the utensils will not only benefit the eight boarding students but will also benefit the school and those who hire the school hall for functions.

The PM says the project is part of government’s efforts to improving the learning environment of students and youth in the rural areas.

Bainimarama is currently touring the Northern Division.
