PM with guests last year at the WOWS Charity Dinner in Sydney, Australia

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama handed over a cheque of $35 000 to WOWS kids Fiji as funding for their ongoing programs.

The money was raised by the Australian/Fijian community during the Fiji Day celebration in Sydney last year.

Bainimarama thanked the Fijian community in Australia for their generosity as the funds will be utilized in assisting those suffering from cancer.

WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi says the money will also assist the organization in creating more awareness to the public.
