He says they are looking at using the format done to the Fiji Pine Corporation and the Fiji Sugar Corporation to restructure the industry.

“We are looking at how to restructure the industry kind of using the format of what we have for the Pine Corporation as well as the Fiji Sugar Corporation and probably leads to establishing a Fiji Kava Corporation.”

Reddy says the set-up will enable a separate arm for Kava, separate research arm and grower registration arm and this will also enable the Ministry to have a proper plan of how Kava is produced so that the production is continuous.
