Five key issues have been identified through a public process for Forum Leaders to discuss at the meeting in Papua New Guinea this week.

Secretary General to the Pacific Islands Forum Dame Meg Taylor says these issues include increased returns on fisheries, climate change, alleged human rights issues within West Papua, cervical cancer and Information and Communications Technology.

Speaking to the journalists at a media workshop ahead of the 46th Pacific Islands Forum Meg Taylor urged them to convey issues and facts accurately and independently.
