The Pacific Islands Development Forum has been invited to participate at two key Pacific regional meetings this month.

PIDF will attend the Forty-fourth meeting of the Committee of Representatives of Governments and Administrations of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community in Noumea, New-Caledonia.

The PIDF will be participating in this meeting for the first time since it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the SPC in June this year.

The PIDF has also been invited to the Pacific Consultation on MDGs and Post-2015 Agenda and the Samoa Pathway Workshop, which will be held in Suva.

Secretary General for the PIDF Feleti Teo says they are committed to engaging with all the regional stakeholders in the realization of a low-carbon, resource-efficient future for the Pacific.

Teo says the region has an important opportunity to influence the Post 2012 Agenda through its participation in the various processes that have been established.
