April 3, 2012 7:46 pm

Commissioner Western Commander Joeli Cawaki has called on people affected by the recent floods to take the initiative and start restoration works within their homes.

Cawaki made the call after visiting the affected areas with the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday.

“Our advice to the western division to take the first step, in cleaning your home, cleaning your compound, cleaning your belongings, and let us work in restoring normalcy to our homes and to our families."
