People to be screened during Coke Games

People will be screened by the Police Operations team during the Coca Cola Games which kicks off this Thursday.

Police Acting Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu says they will not allow people with liquor to watch the games.

“The focus will be on security outside, we will be very tight especially at the front gate, checking or screening all the people that enter into the ground, just to make sure they do not carry with them any offensive weapons or liquor beverages into the grounds.”

Qilolevu confirms that seventy police officers will be on the ground on Thursday and they will beef up to about ninety officers on the final day of the games on Saturday.
