Residents of Labasa yesterday got an opportunity to give their ideas and views for the 2016 National Budget.

While some people suggested the government concentrate more on health and education, others want infrastructure in the Northern division.

We need FEA power and it has gone up to Wainikoro and we are requesting for it since a long time from the government to please do this for us so that our children can benefit from FEA power.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says following successful consultations in Suva and Lautoka, it was time for the residents of Labasa to tell the government what they want in next year’s budget.

Sayed-Khaiyum has assured the residents that their views and suggestions will be considered by the government.
