People in Namau Ba are in shock after bodies of two young boys and their father was found on Tuesday.

The two aged three and five were discovered motionless in their family car while their father was found a few metres away after allegedly taking his own life.

Neighbour, Artika Kumar says the news came as a shock because she had seen the kids playing in the morning.

“I saw the kids with their father. They were really happy I have seen them. After that about half-past uncle came and told me that the kids passed away.”

Kumar says the father of the two boys was a very friendly person and that it’s difficult for the community to accept that the kids are no more.

Police believe the deaths are related to a pending custody battle for the two dead children.

The police investigation continues.
