A 29-year-old man of Wailea in Vatuwaqa has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for stealing three bottles of Golden harvest crunchy peanut butter.

Amani Rabukawaqa on the 21st of July, entered Rajendra Supermarket in Nabua and packed the bottles of peanut butter in his bag.

Police Prosecutor says he only bought one small bottle juice and paid the cashier at the counter.

Kumar says a security officer who was on duty approached him and searched his bag and found the bottles of the crunchy peanut butter.

Rabukawaqa was later reported to the Police and arrested.
Kumar said the man will spend Christmas in jail.
