The Peoples Democratic Party will be announcing their second batch of candidates for the September election on Monday.

PDP leader, Felix Anthony said they want to have people who have served the community and have a track record of dealing with people rather than naming names for the sake of it.

“We have this criteria on women, we have criteria on youth and we want to have a good mix of multi racial mix up as well so these are the issues we keep in mind when we make this selection.”

The party has so far announced thirteen candidates.

Meanwhile, if elected into parliament the PDP will not change the Constitution immediately but will review it at a later stage.

Anthony says they have other priority issues such as employment creation and reduction of poverty to consider.
