The People’s Community Network is currently working with government to develop other squatter settlements in the country.

PCN Director Semiti Qalowasa reveals this to FBC News.

Qalowasa says some of the settlements that they will be working includes Vale ni Cina Settlement in Lami, Caubati, Drasa and Namara in Labasa.

“So these are the areas that we are trying to develop to make sure that all those who are living in squatter settlement deserves a better treatment in terms of better secure land tenure, better housing and better education for their children.”

Qalowasa says they will continue to work with government to develop squatter settlements around the country.
