PCN plans to construct more housing

May 3, 2018 4:33 am

There is a growing need for more housing around the country.

In an effort to address the issue, the People’s Community Network has plans to construct more housing similar to the HART Housing.

PCN National Director, Semiti Qalowasa says the project aims to house low income earners.

“We are looking at a HART style of housing for PCN to do which is maybe better than PCN houses and the HART, in between the PCN housing and HART; we will try and get that. At the moment, we are working very closely with our team to look if there is a state land available for us to build that kind of housing for people who have low wages.”

Meanwhile, Qalowasa says work on the Lagilagi Housing’s second phase at Jittu Estate will soon be completed.

The names of successful tenants for the units are expected to be released soon.
