The Agriculture sector is one of the major focus of the Pacific China Friendship Association.

Association President Hiria Ottino says following the agreement with the Pacific Island Development Forum, they have plans to develop the land with agriculture best practices if the need arises.

“In China you have a very high skilled market for organic food and Mr Gong, know more, so you have special food which have traditional medical value also. And China cannot plant those food because of the different climate so the idea was that we can work together, the Pacific islands and try to start growing those types of crops because it’s good for us because it gives us work for our countries and we can have a high value of products.”
